Note:
- This process creates a .txt file that can then be printed
- It utilizes a Mac .workflow process: "Print Folder Content.workflow"
Process:
- Go to Users>josephjamesrocchio>Mac Procedures>Print Folder Content.workflow. Double-click to launch
- OR: Select Launchpad; Search & Select Automator; Select Print Folder Content.workflow from Files>Recent
- The Workflow window will display
- There are 3 component processes
- Ask for Finder Items
- Get Folder Contents
- New Text File
- In Top Section, Ask for Finder Items
- Select starting point
- Select contents (files, folders, both)
- In Second Section, Get Folder Contents
- Check if process is to be run on subfolders
- In Third, Bottom Section
- Change the name and location of the text file to be created; or leave at default
- Click on Run button
- The Workflow will run and its completion will be displayed in the Log section of the window
- Go to the file that was created and view / print / rename as desired.
