Science & Poetry Hour with Grandpa

• • Elena: I liked the tea project too. Grandpa liked the changing bedroom project because it was so simple to code but made lots of different views.
• • Kian: We discovered how to look at other Scratch projects. I lined the cat drinking tea.
• • Kasho: Yap! Yap!

• • Elena: I liked working on the Scratch Project.
• • Kian: I liked the Scratch project too.
• • Kasho: Yip Yip!

• • Elena: I really liked working with Scratch.
• • Kian: I couldn’t stay still. Just joking. (Grandpa: No he is not!).
• • Kasho: I’m just splooting on my back!

• • Elena: Not sure I had fun with mixed fractions.
• • Kian: I could not sit still!

• • Elena: The Scratch coding environment is very cool. I can do it on my Chromebook.
• • Kian: I love Scratch because I can change, sound, costumes, sprites. It’s awesome!

• • Today is the first day we are writing in our Journal.
• • We love Kasho. Kian says he is like my brother. Elena says he is my best friend.
• • Tomorrow is the start of school. We are sad not to be able to do it together with our friends.
• • Today we enjoyed learning about Scratch to create a Mothers Day card.
• • We thought the glass-winged butterfly was super cool.
• • Our favorite thing about Science & Poetry with Grandpa: is seeing Grandpa.
