It is a mammal. It is born alive as a baby sloth.

What does the animal look like?



It is the size of a small dog. It looks like koala.

Where does the animal live?



In a forest. In trees in the rain forest.

What does the animal eat?



Leaves

How does the animal take in food, water, and air?



Food and water though its mouth. Air through mouth and nose.

How does the animal move from place to place?



By climbing through trees with his long toes.

How does the animal protect itself?



Hide in trees. Long toes and claws.

What are three interesting facts about the animal?



It poops once a week. It sleeps 20 hours a day. It is very slow on the ground.
