  • Purchased 3 new SIM cards as our 2017 SIMs were inactivated.
  • Purchased a Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace smartphone for $99 including $22 for data to use as a hotspot

iPhone Setup
  • Insert nano SIM card
  • Go to Settings
  • Go to General
  • Look for either Network or Cellular, as placement depends on iOS version
  • Go to Cellular Data Network
  • Set APN to internet.btcbahamas.com
  • Leave username and password both blank
  • Go back and ensure that 3G is enabled
  • Note: after BTC activates Data for the phone, it MUST be shut down and rebooted for it to take effect

    • Check Balances:
    Dial
    *200# Provides a menu of service options
    *201# provides a text message with balance
    *203# transfer $ to another number
    *205# select “usage”; then send 1 (reply); for text message of data usage/balance
    *33 provides a voice message with balance
    *44 provides a voice message with multiple options; 1 = balance check

    Add a New Data Plan
    SMS to 5000; Msg: Data5GB; or Data2GB
